Japanese and Scandinavian design traditions meet in Massproductions Icha Stool, an elegant chair with a light yet sturdy construction. The Icha Stool is a complex wooden chair in solid, layer-glued wood, a combination that makes it dependent on three different production techniques.
Inspired by architects' classic drawing tables, Designer-in-Chief Chris Martin, wanted to scale down all details not adding function. The end result come out of a creative experiment with large geometric forms, made of massive FSC-certified wood in ash.
