We design and manufacture handblown glass lighting and objects from our studios in Healdsburg, Northern California and the Czech Republic. Every SkLO product is made with a deep appreciation for the richness of its organic material and the historical craft tradition it embodies.
SkLO designs demonstrate careful attention to detail, and a commitment to achieving the simplest expression of beauty. This belief in simplicity and design discipline is always balanced by a deep respect for the raw material, and closeness to the maker. There’s an inherent primal brutality and unexpectedness in glassblowing, and in Czech glass in particular. Masters of the craft make manipulation of molten glass appear effortless, as they employ generations of skillful technique. Our designs celebrate this process in their subtle irregularities, making each one a unique reflection of its long history.

The Peak Pendant is a lit shape of handblown glass supported beneath a small conical form. The cone can be installed in either the pointing-up or pointing-down position. The ceiling canopy is an identical conical shape, mirroring the form of the pendant itself. The glass diffusers are available in two shapes and both "dipped" glass, featuring the SkLO double-dipped flame-polished mouth, and "textured" glass, featuring a soft, frosted finish and subtle sculpted vertical ridges.
The Once Light is a single lit sphere of handblown Czech glass that rests atop a brass ring (included). Available in three sizes. The 4.5"/110mm and 7"/180mm glass diffusers are available in both "dipped" glass, featuring the SkLO double-dipped flame-polished mouth and "textured" glass, featuring a soft, frosted finish and subtle sculpted vertical ridges. The 10"/250mm diffuser is available in “dipped” glass only.
Large, linear light fixture featuring a long row of glass loops supported on a steel armature. The glass loops come in different sizes, showcasing the amazing quality and clarity of the Czech handblown glass. Each loop is made by hand, so each is unique and slightly different, lending the finished composition a very organic feel. Each socket hangs individually from the canopy on an exposed fabric-wrapped electrical cord and nestles within the glass loops. Available in three sizes.
Solid loops of handblown Czech glass serve as a shade for this sculptural pendant. The glass loops are a predetermined set of different sizes and sit atop a brass hook. Two sockets oriented horizontally, back-to-back, are positioned below the hook. Suspended on a rigid brass stem.
