Table Lamps

Large spheres of handblown Czech glass with a custom brass socket assembly through one side. Each glass sphere is blown by hand without the use of moulds, and so is slightly imperfect in shape. Available in two sizes. Each is broken hot from the blower's pipe and the mouth then fire-polished to create an uncontrollable detail unique to each piece. Two brass thumb screws attach the removable bulb-and-socket from the side of the glass.

The perfect balance between shape and function. With its simple but distinctive design, this table lamp features a diffuser with a magnet fastening, allowing it to be moved with precision, thus ensuring the right lighting wherever needed. The brightness of the light can be adjusted by the dimmer switch.

The Mist table lamp, made from mouth-blown opal glass, features a thick marble pillar with a small dimmer switch. The contrast between the light shape of the glass and the solidity of the marble creates an elegant design rich in materiality.

GUBI has redeveloped every component of the Multi-Lite Table Lamp in a more compact design, integrated a USB-charging facility, and incorporated a three-level, touch-activated dimmer function. With the teardrop-shaped marble base acting as an anchor, the white linen or natural canvas shade can be effortlessly rotated around it, as though it were a sail, gently billowing. Its dark antique brass ‘mast’ supports an array of dimmable LED lights within the shade that create a soft, diffuse and evenly distributed light.
